A contract opportunity is available for a School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 academic year in Barre, VT. This full-time position offers 37.5 hours per week, starting on August 28, 2026, and concluding on June 18, 2027. The caseload will be determined after internal postings and discussed further during the interview process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans
- Provide consultation and support to school staff regarding student mental health and learning needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with state requirements
Qualifications:
- Must meet all state certification and licensure requirements for school psychologists
- Experience working in educational settings preferred
- Ability to work in-person full-time at the school location
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to supporting diverse student populations
