Job Description

A contract position is available for a School Psychologist to support K-12 students in North Adams, MA. This role provides critical psychological services aimed at promoting student learning and well-being throughout the school year (CSY).

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to identify student needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop tailored intervention plans.
  • Provide counseling and support services to students experiencing emotional, behavioral, or academic challenges.
  • Participate in eligibility meetings and assist in developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Monitor and document student progress and maintain confidential records.
  • Serve as a resource for crisis intervention and prevention strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure.
  • Experience working with K-12 populations in a school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools, educational laws, and intervention techniques.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases while maintaining attention to detail and confidentiality.
