Key Qualifications:

• Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Current School Psychologist licensure in Illinois or eligibility to obtain
• Previous experience working within school settings, particularly with middle school populations, highly valued
• Strong skills in conducting psychoeducational assessments, functional behavior assessments, and eligibility determinations
• Excellent communication and collaborative abilities, with a student-centered approach

Primary Responsibilities:

• Administer and interpret a variety of standardized and informal assessments for middle school students
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop IEPs and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to support students academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
• Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and recommendations to enhance student learning and well-being
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with district policies
