Job Description

Engage in a fulfilling role dedicated to enhancing the educational and emotional well-being of students in a K-12 school environment. This position focuses on providing psychological services to approximately 250 students with mild to moderate needs, ensuring that each child receives the support necessary for their success.

Qualifications:

  • Active Illinois School Psychologist License
  • Professional Educator License (PEL)
  • Experience working in K-12 educational settings
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and staff

Location: Newton, IL (Onsite)

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Provide direct counseling services to students and support their emotional needs.
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to create a conducive learning environment.
  • Provide training and resources to staff and parents regarding students' psychological needs.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
