A school psychologist position is available for the upcoming school year, supporting students at preschool, elementary, and high school levels. This full-time role requires a dedicated professional to provide on-site psychological services that promote student success and well-being in an educational setting.
Location: Wilmington, DE
Job Type: Contract (School Year)
Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Start/End Dates: ASAP through June 12, 2026
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments to identify student learning needs and challenges
- Provide counseling and intervention services tailored to individual student requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement support plans
- Participate in individualized education program (IEP) meetings and contribute to team decision-making
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all applicable regulations and standards
Qualifications Desired:
- Active Delaware licensure as a school psychologist required
- Experience working in preschool, elementary, and high school environments preferred
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools and intervention strategies
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students and staff
- Commitment to on-site availability throughout the contract duration
