Job Description

An opportunity exists for a dedicated professional to provide critical psychological services within a K-12 educational setting. This role demands a comprehensive approach to enhance student well-being and academic performance through assessment, intervention, and collaboration with educators and families.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Pennsylvania School Psychologist License
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Strong ability to conduct psychoeducational assessments and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with diverse student populations
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive school environment

Location:

  • New Castle, PA

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify student needs and develop appropriate interventions
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to implement strategies that support student mental health and learning
  • Provide counseling and support services to students and families
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
  • Deliver professional development workshops for staff on mental health and wellness
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided and student progress
