Job Description
A school psychologist opportunity is available for professionals with active Delaware licensure, preferably with school experience. This full-time, on-site contract position is based in New Castle, DE, serving a high school setting with additional needs across preschool and elementary levels.
Location: New Castle, Delaware
Duration: Immediate start through June 12, 2026
Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Setting: On-site only
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students across preschool, elementary, and high school levels
- Collaborate with educators and families to develop support plans and interventions
- Provide individual and group counseling to address social, emotional, and behavioral issues
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success
- Maintain accurate records and reports in compliance with state regulations
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Delaware School Psychologist licensure required
- Experience working in school environments preferred
- Ability to work effectively with students of varying ages and needs
- Strong assessment, counseling, and communication skills
- Commitment to on-site presence for the entire contract duration
