A dynamic opportunity is available for a School Psychologist to support high school students within a full-time, contract position lasting through June 12, 2026. This role is based onsite in a Delaware high school setting, specifically to serve the Bilingual Evaluation Team, ensuring culturally and linguistically responsive psychological services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for high school students
- Collaborate with educational staff and families to develop individualized support plans
- Utilize data to inform interventions and assist in improving student outcomes
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings focused on bilingual student services
Qualifications:
- Valid Delaware School Psychologist licensure is required (current licensure must be provided)
- Experience working in school settings is preferred, especially with high school students
- Ability to work effectively as part of a bilingual evaluation team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage students, families, and educators
Location: On-site work in New Castle County, Delaware
The position offers a structured schedule with 37.5 hours per week, providing consistent involvement in the school community throughout the academic year. Candidates should be prepared to start as soon as possible.
