A full-time school psychologist position is available to support middle school students (grades 6-12) within a K-12 school setting located in New Castle, DE. This contract assignment runs from ASAP through June 12, 2026, offering an opportunity to apply your expertise and licensure in a dedicated educational environment. This role requires on-site presence at the John Dickinson School and involves collaboration with the educational team to support student mental health and learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer psychological assessments and interpret results for middle school students.
- Develop and implement individual education and intervention plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to promote student well-being and academic success.
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and reports in compliance with school policies and state regulations.
Qualifications:
- Active Delaware School Psychologist licensure required.
- Experience working in a school setting preferred, particularly with middle school-aged children.
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and educational laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work full-time (37.5 hours per week) on-site.
