Job Description

An opportunity is available for a licensed School Psychologist to support elementary students in the Naples, FL area. This role offers a contract assignment lasting through the end of May 2026, providing essential psychological services across two elementary schools. The position requires a professional committed to fostering student well-being and academic success through targeted psychological assessments, interventions, and consultations.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver psychological services to elementary-aged students at two schools within the district, working itinerantly.
  • Conduct assessments, interpret results, and develop individualized plans to support student needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to implement interventions and promote positive educational outcomes.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary approaches for student support.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services and comply with applicable state and district guidelines.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Florida Department of Health School Psychologist license is mandatory.
  • Prior experience working in Florida school settings, preferably with elementary students, is highly valued.
  • Strong assessment skills and ability to implement evidence-based interventions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff.
  • Ability to manage caseload efficiently across multiple school locations.

Work Details:

  • Location: Naples, FL (Collier County area)
  • Schedule: 37.5 hours per week; 2-3 day split between two elementary schools with options for onsite full-time or hybrid remote work.
  • Contract Duration: Immediate start through May 29, 2026.
