Job Description

A rewarding opportunity is available for a dedicated professional skilled in providing psychological services within an elementary school setting. This role focuses on supporting students from kindergarten through fifth grade, addressing their diverse emotional and educational needs.

Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Current state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students, preferably those with special education needs
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Location:

  • Naperville, IL

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students
  • Develop and implement appropriate intervention plans
  • Provide individual and group counseling to students with identified needs
  • Collaborate with special education teams to support student IEPs
  • Provide training and support to staff on mental health best practices
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and services provided

This position entails a part-time commitment of 32.5 hours per week for the 2025-2026 school year, working alongside a veteran school psychologist to enhance the well-being and academic success of approximately 145 students with IEPs.
