Qualifications:
- Masters degree in School Psychology or closely related field required
- Valid Minnesota school psychologist licensure is mandatory
- Experience working with students at the elementary, middle, and/or high school level strongly preferred
- Solid grasp of special education evaluation procedures and development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Outstanding communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Able to adapt interventions to meet the unique needs of diverse learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer assessments to evaluate students cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and assist with eligibility determinations
- Provide direct intervention and counseling services for students as needed
- Develop and help implement evidence-based strategies, accommodations, and interventions
- Consult regularly with teachers, staff, and parents/guardians to support student success
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with local and state requirements
