Qualifications:

• Masters degree in School Psychology or closely related field required
• Valid Minnesota school psychologist licensure is mandatory
• Experience working with students at the elementary, middle, and/or high school level strongly preferred
• Solid grasp of special education evaluation procedures and development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Outstanding communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Able to adapt interventions to meet the unique needs of diverse learners

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer assessments to evaluate students cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and assist with eligibility determinations
• Provide direct intervention and counseling services for students as needed
• Develop and help implement evidence-based strategies, accommodations, and interventions
• Consult regularly with teachers, staff, and parents/guardians to support student success
• Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with local and state requirements
