Job Description

A full-time, contracted School Psychologist position is available to serve a K-12 school in Milton, WI, for the second semester of the academic year. This role focuses on supporting students in grades 4 through 6, within a school serving just under 800 students. The successful candidate will be already licensed and ready to provide specialized psychological services in an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead initial and reevaluation assessments for special education eligibility.
  • Collaborate on 504 plans, with case management handled by school counselors.
  • Provide psychological support and interventions tailored to the needs of 4th to 6th graders.
  • Work closely with educators, families, and support staff to foster a positive learning environment.
  • Maintain detailed records and comply with all relevant legal and ethical guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current licensure as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience working with K-12 students, particularly upper elementary grades.
  • Proficiency with special education assessments and understanding of 504 plan processes.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • Ability to manage a caseload effectively while prioritizing student needs.

Location and Schedule:

  • Based in Milton, Wisconsin.
  • Full-time position, 40 hours per week.
  • Assigned to one school.
