A full-time School Psychologist position is available to provide essential psychological services within a high school setting in Middletown, DE. This contract opportunity lasts through the end of the 2025-2026 school year, with a start date as soon as possible. The position demands on-site commitment and requires a valid Delaware school psychologist licensure. Candidates with prior school experience are preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for student populations across preschool, elementary, and high school levels
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Offer counseling and intervention strategies to support student mental health and academic success
- Maintain comprehensive records and documentation in compliance with school policies and state regulations
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and needs
Qualifications:
- Current Delaware licensure as a School Psychologist is required
- Previous experience working in educational settings preferred
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to work full-time (37.5 hours per week) on-site
