A full-time School Psychologist position is available to support a high school setting in Middletown, DE, for the 20242026 academic years. This contracted role offers an opportunity to provide essential psychological services within a dynamic educational environment, starting as soon as possible through June 12, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for diverse student populations.
- Collaborate with the Bilingual Evaluation Team to support multilingual learners.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with educators and families.
- Provide consultation and counseling services to students, staff, and parents.
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings to promote student success.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines.
- Work exclusively on-site to deliver hands-on support and interventions.
Qualifications:
- Active Delaware School Psychologist licensure is required; please provide documentation.
- Previous experience working as a school psychologist, preferably in a secondary school environment.
- Familiarity with bilingual or multilingual student assessments is strongly preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage with diverse school teams.
- Ability to manage multiple cases while maintaining high-quality service delivery.
