Job Description

This opportunity is for a dedicated School Psychologist to provide essential support at a middle school serving grades 6-12. The position is full-time (37.5 hours/week) and will be based on-site at a K-12 school in Middletown, Delaware. The contract runs from ASAP through June 12, 2026, offering a chance to make a meaningful impact within the educational community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students in middle school grades.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs).
  • Provide consultation and interventions to support student emotional, social, and academic development.
  • Assist in crisis intervention and support positive behavioral strategies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and district guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Delaware School Psychologist licensure is required.
  • Previous school-based experience highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of K-12 educational environments, particularly middle school settings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and educational teams.
  • Ability to work on-site and commit full-time hours during the contract period.

  • Position is located at John Dickinson School in Middletown, DE.
  • On-site presence is required.
