Job Description

Location: Melrose Park, IL
Hours: 38 hours per week, onsite

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial evaluations and re-evaluations for students requiring psychological assessments.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop tailored intervention plans.
  • Attend and actively participate in District Psychologist meetings during school hours.
  • Provide consultation to staff regarding student needs and psychological services.
  • Develop and implement social-emotional learning programs in collaboration with school staff.

Qualifications:

  • Active Professional Educator License (PEL) in school psychology.
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in school psychology or related field.
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children preferred.
  • Strong assessment and evaluation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
