Job Description
Make a difference in the educational journey of students as a highly valued School Psychologist on a contract basis. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
- Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred
- Proficiency in psychological assessment, report writing, and providing student interventions
- Strong communication and collaborative skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Develop and implement strategies to support student success academically, socially, and emotionally
- Collaborate with educators and families to create individualized education plans (IEPs) and interventions
- Deliver counseling and consultation services to help students overcome challenges
- Interpret assessment data and share actionable recommendations with staff and parents
- Participate as a member of multidisciplinary teams to promote best practices and positive school climate
