Job Description

Provide specialized psychological services to support students academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs in a K-12 elementary school setting. This full-time leave contract position spans from November 3, 2025, to January 30, 2026, with a focus on comprehensive evaluations and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial and reevaluation psychological assessments for students, including 10 reevaluations due beginning December 9, 2025
  • Participate in the preschool/Child Find team efforts, primarily on Fridays, supporting early identification and intervention services
  • Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other school staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral interventions
  • Provide consultation and support to school personnel to promote positive student outcomes
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with district and state requirements

Qualifications:

  • Valid WA Educational Staff Associate (ESA) Psychologist License required
  • Experience working as a school psychologist in K-12 settings, preferably within elementary education
  • Skilled in conducting psychological assessments and interpreting results to guide interventions
  • Knowledge of legal and ethical standards in school psychology and special education
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to work full-time hours during the contract period
