As a School Psychologist, you will play a key role in providing comprehensive psychological services that promote positive educational outcomes and student well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and interpret assessment data to determine student needs and eligibility for services.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop effective intervention strategies and support plans.
• Participate in IEP, eligibility, and multidisciplinary team meetings while providing recommendations that promote student success.
• Provide consultation on behavioral, academic, and social-emotional concerns using evidence-based practices.
• Assist with crisis prevention, intervention, and response as needed.
• Monitor student progress and support data-driven decision-making.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with federal, state, and district regulations.
• Foster positive relationships with students, families, and school staff to create a supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Master's, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
• Valid New Mexico School Psychologist license/certification or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and writing comprehensive evaluation reports.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
