Desired Qualifications:
- Masters degree in School Psychology or closely related field
- Active New Mexico school psychologist license
- Experience working with students across elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Proficiency in assessment, intervention, and counseling strategies
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities with diverse groups
- Commitment to confidentiality and ethical best practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and deliver insightful reports
- Provide crisis intervention, short-term counseling, and consultation services
- Develop individualized intervention and support plans for students
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families on student learning and behavior plans
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of 504/IEP documentation
- Support and educate school staff on mental health and wellness topics
- Help foster inclusive, positive school climates where all students can thrive
