Job Description

Provide specialized psychological services to elementary students in the Denver area, focusing on mental health support in adherence to IEP requirements. This full-time or part-time contract position is based onsite within one school assignment, with caseloads tailored by student needs and school demographics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct mental health services such as individual meetings and social skills groups to students with IEPs.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
  • Conduct social-emotional evaluations and contribute to IEP documentation.
  • Offer crisis intervention support as needed.
  • Provide both direct and indirect interventions for students requiring additional assistance.
  • Manage caseload influenced by factors including school population characteristics and resources.

Qualifications:

  • Active Colorado Department of Education certification for school psychology.
  • Experience working with elementary school-age children.
  • Knowledge of IEP processes and mental health interventions in educational settings.
  • Strong evaluation and documentation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with school staff and support multidisciplinary teams.

Location:

  • Work onsite in Littleton, Colorado with assignments at local elementary schools.

Contract Details:

  • Start date: November 20, 2025
  • Duration: Through May 22, 2026
  • Full-time (35+ hours/week) or part-time (~20 hours/week) options available
  • One school per assignment

This position offers the opportunity to provide essential psychological services within an elementary school environment, supporting students social and emotional development.
