Qualifications:
- Masters degree in School Psychology or a closely related field
- Valid Nevada license as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with students in elementary, middle, and high school settings
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and counseling techniques
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt to diverse school environments and student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational assessments for students
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student development
- Provide direct counseling, behavior intervention, and crisis management services as needed
- Assist with establishing positive and inclusive school climates
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all relevant district, state, and federal guidelines
