Job Description

Make a meaningful difference in the lives of K-12 students while advancing your career as a School Psychologist on a contract basis for the 2026-2027 academic year. This opportunity supports learners in the Grand Blanc, Lansing, and Detroit areas, working onsite across a diverse range of schools and age groups. Youll have a manageable caseload of about 60 students with mild to moderate disabilities, focusing on fostering success through early intervention and targeted support.

Key Qualifications:

  • Michigan School Psychologist Certification or Preliminary School Psychologist Certification required
  • Ability to provide an official copy of university transcripts prior to placement
  • Experience working with K-12 students with mild to moderate disabilities preferred
  • Previous school psychology or relevant agency experience valued
  • Strong skills in collaboration, communication, and assessment
  • Position is onsite, not available for telepractice/VOCO settings

Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement early identification and intervention strategies for students with academic, social, or emotional needs
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments including cognitive, achievement, adaptive, and social-emotional evaluations
  • Clearly communicate psychological findings to parents, teachers, and administrators for effective educational planning
  • Collaborate closely with support staff and participate in ongoing professional development and training
  • Ensure consistent application of special education policies and procedures in all assignments
  • Support the schools mission by performing additional responsibilities as needed
