This full-time position offers an opportunity to provide comprehensive psychological services to K-12 students within a public school district located in Lancaster, SC. The role focuses on supporting student development, learning, and emotional well-being across various schools in the district.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students K-12.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement effective intervention strategies.
- Provide counseling and support services to address students behavioral and emotional needs.
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to create individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Assist in crisis intervention and contribute to positive school climate initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with federal and state regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active South Carolina School Psychologist License.
- South Carolina Department of Education Certificate (preferred to have on hand).
- Proven experience working as a school psychologist in K-12 settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work onsite exclusively; no virtual or telehealth arrangements.
