Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in psychology, school psychology, or a related field required
  • Current and valid Minnesota school psychologist licensure
  • Previous experience working in elementary, middle, and/or high school settings preferred
  • Strong communication, consultation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to administer and interpret psychological and educational assessments
  • Familiarity with special education regulations and support systems
  • Organized, adaptable, and able to manage a diverse caseload

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs
  • Collaborate with school teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Provide counseling, consultation, and intervention services directly to students
  • Work closely with families, teachers, and specialists to ensure comprehensive support for each student
  • Offer crisis intervention and behavioral supports as needed
  • Contribute to data-driven decision-making and the creation of positive learning environments
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all state and district guidelines
