Job Description

An exciting opportunity awaits for a dedicated professional skilled in providing psychological services within an elementary school setting. This contract position is based in Lacey, WA, and will commence in the next school year, focusing on a primarily elementary caseload.

Qualifications:

Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
Valid state certification or licensure in School Psychology
Experience working with elementary-aged children
Strong assessment and intervention skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and staff
Knowledge of special education laws and regulations

Location:

Lacey, WA

Responsibilities:

Conduct psychological assessments and evaluate students educational and emotional needs
Develop and implement appropriate intervention strategies
Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student well-being
Provide crisis intervention and support for students and staff
Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to students plans
Offer professional development and training to staff regarding mental health and wellness
Maintain accurate and confidential records of student progress and interventions
