Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in School Psychology or a related field.
  • Valid Kentucky School Psychologist license.
  • Experience working with students at the elementary, middle, and/or high school level.
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop effective professional relationships.
  • Knowledge of special education laws, response to intervention, and best practices in psychological assessment and intervention.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments to support individualized learning plans.
  • Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support for students as needed.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to design interventions and strategies enhancing student success.
  • Contribute to multi-disciplinary teams and participate in IEP meetings.
  • Monitor student progress and provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Facilitate workshops or training for staff on relevant psychological and behavioral topics.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with applicable regulations.
