Job Description

In a vibrant educational setting in La Conner, WA, professionals will play a crucial role as support specialists for students. This position focuses on providing psychological assessments and interventions within a K-12 environment, catering to a diverse student population, including pre-kindergarten and online learners. This contract is onsite only, 4 days per week, 7.5 hours per day for a total of 30 hours weekly.

Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist License for Washington State
  • ESA Credential
  • Strong background in conducting assessments and evaluations
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and collaboration with educational teams
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly with parents and staff
  • Experience working with K-12 students, especially in varied learning environments

Location: La Conner, WA

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments, re-evaluations, and evaluations for students from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade
  • Attend IEP meetings in person to discuss assessment results and collaborate with IEP teams to ensure compliance with educational standards
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on evaluation findings to support student needs
  • Develop tailored interventions in partnership with educators and parents
  • Manage a caseload of fewer than 50 students, focusing on their individual psychological and educational needs
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all assessments and interventions
