Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure (as required by state regulations)
• Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
• Previous experience as a School Psychologist in a K-12 setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and special education processes
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and caseloads while staying organized and responsive
• Commitment to culturally responsive practices and supporting diverse populations

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to identify students academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
• Collaborate with school staff, teachers, and families to develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide direct and consultative services, including crisis intervention, counseling, and behavioral coaching
• Interpret assessment data and recommend evidence-based interventions
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and offer recommendations to foster student growth and success
• Stay current with best practices and legal requirements in the field of school psychology
