Job Description
A traveling School Psychologist position is available for the 2026-2027 school year, serving students in grades K-8 with a cross-categorical caseload. This role requires working 35 hours per week, providing psychological services to support the academic, social, and emotional development of diverse student populations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to determine student needs
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student success
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute valuable insights
Qualifications:
- Valid Professional Educator's License (PEL) for Illinois schools, issued through ISBE
- Experience working with school-aged children across multiple disability categories preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage a cross-categorical caseload effectively
