Job Description
A high school in Joliet, IL, is seeking a skilled school psychologist on a contract basis for the current school year. The ideal candidate will provide essential psychological services to support the academic, social, and emotional development of students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop effective intervention plans.
- Provide individual and group counseling to address student needs.
- Assist in the development and implementation of behavior management plans.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid state certification or licensure as a school psychologist.
- Experience working with high school-aged students in an educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and relevant state regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
