Job Description

A full-time school psychologist opportunity is available for the upcoming school year at an elementary school located in Joliet, IL. This onsite contract position offers a rewarding role supporting students and staff with psychological services throughout the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial and re-evaluations for students as part of the special education process
  • Provide psychological assessments to support individualized education plans
  • Participate actively in District Psychologist meetings during the school day
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to promote student well-being and academic success

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Professional Educator License (PEL) in school psychology is required
  • Experience working in an elementary school environment preferred
  • Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and educational interventions
  • Ability to manage a caseload effectively while maintaining accurate documentation

Location:

  • Elementary school in Joliet, Illinois
  • Onsite, full-time schedule (38 hours per week)
