Take your expertise in school psychology to the next level with this rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students in a highly collaborative environment. This role focuses on serving two elementary school sites, offering a diverse caseload and plenty of professional growth. The assignment runs from late August to mid-June, with a typical workweek of 35-37.5 hours. While onsite presence is preferred, flexible arrangements such as a hybrid (three days onsite, two days remote) or fully remote (VOCO) setup are negotiable for the right candidate.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Maryland School Psychologist license (active and in good standing)
- Demonstrated experience with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), 504 Plans, and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS)
- Strong background in behavior intervention, executive function coaching, and cognitive assessment
- Comfortable consulting with school teams and families to support student success
- Prior experience in elementary school settings is highly valued
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct cognitive and behavioral assessments, share expertise in developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and contribute to IEP team decisions
- Lead or participate in MTSS processes, focusing on interventions and progress monitoring
- Provide consultation services for eligibility determinations and 504 plan development
- Collaborate closely with general and special education staff to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
