Job Description

This position is for a School Psychologist serving K-12 students within a California public school setting for the 2025/26 school year. The role supports student success by conducting psychological assessments, testing, and participating in eligibility and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings. The focus is primarily on mild to moderate disabilities, providing essential evaluations that guide educational planning and interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and testing for K-12 students.
  • Participate in IEP and eligibility meetings to collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals.
  • Develop and recommend strategies to support students academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Provide ongoing consultation to teachers and school staff to address student needs.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all relevant state and federal educational regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Valid California Pupil Personnel Services Credential in School Psychology (PPS).
  • Experience working with K-12 students in public school settings.
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools and special education law.
  • Ability to manage caseloads of mild to moderate disabilities effectively.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Location:

  • Position based in Hayward, CA, serving schools in the surrounding area.

Contract Details:

  • Full-time contract position (37.5 hours per week).
  • School year (NSY) assignment for 2025/26.
  • Interview arrangements flexible to candidate availability.
