Job Description

A Connecticut-licensed School Psychologist is sought for a K-12 educational setting serving PreK and Kindergarten students. This full-time contract position offers a 37.5-hour workweek across five days, providing an opportunity to impact early childhood development during the school year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to support student learning and behavioral needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Offer counseling and intervention strategies for young students.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and recommend resources.
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with state regulations and confidentiality requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Current Connecticut School Psychologist License is required.
  • Experience working with PreK and Kindergarten age groups preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of educational testing, behavioral assessments, and intervention techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with children, families, and school staff.

Location: Hartford, CT

This contract position runs through the current school year, providing a stable schedule Monday through Friday.
