Job Description

A unique opportunity is available for a dedicated professional to provide essential psychological services within an educational setting. This full-time contract position is based in Hartford, CT, and focuses on supporting students from Pre-K through 5th grade.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Connecticut School Psychologist license
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators and staff
  • Knowledge of district-wide assessment processes

Location: Hartford, CT

Responsibilities:

  • Provide psychological assessments and interventions for students at an elementary magnet school.
  • Collaborate with fellow school psychologists to conduct district-wide assessments.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on assessment results.
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents regarding student needs and supports.
  • Deliver professional development workshops on mental health and educational practices.
