A contract opportunity is available for a licensed School Psychologist to provide essential assessment and support services within an elementary school setting in the Harrisburg, PA area. This full-time position offers the chance to work directly with approximately 300 students to evaluate eligibility for special education services and contribute professional insights during MTSS and student concern meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine student eligibility for special education programs.
- Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings, including MTSS discussions.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to recommend and design intervention strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation and communication with families and school personnel.
- Support the implementation of behavioral and educational plans as needed.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in School Psychology.
- Full licensure in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Minimum of two years of experience in school-based settings preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 300 elementary students.
Location and Schedule:
- Onsite position located in Elliottsburg, PA, near Harrisburg.
- Up to 40 hours per week.
- Contract role aligned with the current school year (CSY).
