Job Description
A full-time School Psychologist position is available at a K-12 school in Pittsfield, MA. This contract role covers the complete school year, working five days a week to support students across all grade levels.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Must hold a valid Massachusetts School Psychologist license
- Experience working with K-12 student populations preferred
- Strong assessment, intervention, and counseling skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct counseling and support services to students
- Consult with teachers and administrators to develop strategies that enhance learning and social-emotional development
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute professional recommendations
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with state and federal regulations
Location: Pittsfield, MA (K-12 school setting) Schedule: Full-time, 5 days per week, school year contract
