Job Description

A K-12 school in Great Barrington, MA is seeking a skilled School Psychologist for a contract position for the current school year (CSY). This role involves providing comprehensive psychological services to support student learning and well-being across all grade levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results to inform educational planning.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans.
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students as needed.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to address student needs and monitor progress.
  • Assist in implementing strategies to promote positive behavioral and academic outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
  • Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in Massachusetts.
  • Experience working with K-12 students in an educational setting.
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educational staff and families.
  • Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and intervention strategies.
