Step into a vital role supporting K-12 students across multiple Michigan regions, providing essential services as a School Psychologist during the 2026-2027 academic year (August 17 - June 11). This is a contract opportunity for committed professionals available for 35 hours a week. Serving a caseload of approximately 60 students with mild to moderate disabilities, you will work onsiteremote placements are not available.

Ideal candidates bring a genuine interest in nurturing student growth and expertise in addressing learning and behavioral needs. You'll partner with educators and families, helping craft effective strategies for student success, and play a key part in multidisciplinary teams that support positive outcomes for all learners.

Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan School Psychologist certification or Preliminary School Psychologist Certification.
• Official university transcripts required prior to consideration.
• Experience in school psychology or similar agency roles is advantageous.
• Knowledge of mild to moderate disabilities and effective interventions for K-12 students.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt to multiple school environments in Grand Blanc, Lansing, and Detroit areas.

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to inform special education needs.
• Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and administrators to interpret findings and guide intervention plans.
• Contribute to early identification and intervention processes for students with academic, behavioral, or social-emotional needs.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain best practices.
• Ensure special education policies are consistently implemented.
• Other duties as assigned by administration.
