A K-12 school in Grady, NM is seeking a qualified School Psychologist to provide essential psychological services throughout the school year on a contract basis. This role involves collaborating with educators, families, and students to support academic, social-emotional, and behavioral development in a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for K-12 students
- Develop and implement intervention plans based on assessment results
- Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to facilitate student success
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling support as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid New Mexico School Psychologist Certification
- Experience working with diverse K-12 student populations
- Strong assessment, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of relevant state and federal educational regulations and standards
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
