A travel opportunity for a School Psychologist is available in Glendale, AZ, offering a full-time schedule of 37.5 to 40 hours per week. This role is designed for a certified professional who can provide comprehensive psychological services in a school setting while managing a typical high school caseload.
Key Qualifications:
- Arizona School Psychologist Certification is required
- Experience working with high school students preferred
- Strong knowledge of special education services and eligibility criteria
- Skills in conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA)
- Ability to maintain detailed evaluation and special education records
Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting psychological assessments for referred students to determine needs and services
- Making recommendations regarding eligibility for special education programs
- Participating as an essential member of the Individualized Education Program (IEP) team
- Leading school-based teams in completing Functional Behavioral Assessments
- Providing direct counseling and skills training to both general and special education students
- Supporting school-wide initiatives to promote mental health, prevention, and intervention services
