A travel opportunity for a School Psychologist is available in Glendale, AZ, offering a full-time schedule of 37.5 to 40 hours per week. This role is designed for a certified professional who can provide comprehensive psychological services in a school setting while managing a typical high school caseload.

Key Qualifications:

  • Arizona School Psychologist Certification is required
  • Experience working with high school students preferred
  • Strong knowledge of special education services and eligibility criteria
  • Skills in conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA)
  • Ability to maintain detailed evaluation and special education records

Responsibilities Include:

  • Conducting psychological assessments for referred students to determine needs and services
  • Making recommendations regarding eligibility for special education programs
  • Participating as an essential member of the Individualized Education Program (IEP) team
  • Leading school-based teams in completing Functional Behavioral Assessments
  • Providing direct counseling and skills training to both general and special education students
  • Supporting school-wide initiatives to promote mental health, prevention, and intervention services
