Job Description

A contract position is available for a certified School Psychologist to support a high school in Glendale, AZ. This role requires Arizona School Psychologist Certification and involves managing a full high school caseload with work hours totaling 37.5 to 40 per week during the school year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments for students referred for evaluation.
  • Recommend eligibility for special education services based on assessment outcomes.
  • Actively participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) team meetings.
  • Lead school-based teams in completing Functional Behavioral Assessments.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate evaluation and special education records.
  • Provide direct counseling and skills training services to both general and special education students.
  • Support school-wide prevention, intervention, and mental health promotion initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Arizona School Psychologist Certification.
  • Experience working within high school settings preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of special education evaluation and eligibility requirements.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Skilled in conducting behavioral assessments and counseling.

Location: Glendale, AZ
Schedule: Full-time, 37.540 hours per week
Duration: School Year Contract
