A contract position is available for a School Psychologist to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Glen Allen, VA. This role involves providing psychological services to enhance student learning, social-emotional development, and wellbeing throughout the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychoeducational assessments to identify student needs and inform interventions
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior support plans
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention to support students mental health
• Assist in the implementation of school-wide strategies to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in compliance with regulatory standards

Qualifications:

• Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
• Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
• Experience working with K-12 student populations within schools
• Strong knowledge of psychoeducational assessment tools and techniques
• Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
