Job Description

Step into a highly impactful role supporting several campuses as a School Psychologist for a leading school district in the Plano area. This full-time, onsite opportunity runs from August 2026 to May 2027 and centers on providing direct psychological services and evaluations across 34 campuses. Your expertise will help ensure students receive the support and guidance they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid and active Texas School Psychologist License
  • Demonstrated experience in school-based settings, particularly with Full Individual Evaluations (FIEs)
  • Familiarity with student support processes, including attending SST and ARD meetings
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple evaluations and comply with strict deadlines
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel regularly between assigned campuses
  • Commitment to onsite work (remote work is not available)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations in accordance with district and state mandates
  • Manage and facilitate the FIE process, including obtaining parental consent and serving as case manager
  • Attend and contribute expertise to Student Support Team (SST) and Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families, providing insight into student needs and services
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate, thorough, and completed within required timelines
  • Support compliance initiatives to uphold education standards and support student success
