Embark on a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting elementary students for the upcoming school year! We are seeking an experienced School Psychologist ready to provide crucial mental health and academic support within a welcoming educational environment. This full-time position runs from September 1 through the end of the school year and involves working at one to two elementary campuses, allowing you to build meaningful relationships and deliver continuity of care.
Preferred candidates will possess:
- Valid School Psychologist license
- Colorado Department of Education (CDE) certification
- Previous experience working with elementary-aged students
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to fostering inclusive, positive learning environments
Your role will include:
- Conducting student evaluations and assessments to support learning and behavioral needs
- Providing counseling services to students individually and in groups
- Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families on intervention strategies
- Supporting the development and implementation of IEPs and 504 plans
- Assisting with crisis prevention and intervention efforts
- Promoting social, emotional, and behavioral development for all students
