Job Description

This opportunity seeks a dedicated and skilled School Psychologist to provide support within two elementary schools in the Naples area. The position is on-site with a structured itinerant schedule, splitting time between schools and offering some flexibility for remote work. The role focuses on supporting elementary-aged students by addressing their academic, social, and emotional needs to foster a positive and productive learning environment.

Location: Fort Myers, FL (Naples area) Duration: Contract position through May 29, 2026 Schedule: 37.5 hours/week, with 2-3 day splits between two elementary schools and the possibility of one remote workday per week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for elementary students
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to develop and implement intervention plans
  • Provide counseling and support services to enhance student well-being and academic success
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to design individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to state and district guidelines

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Florida Department of Health School Psychologist license required
  • Strong preference for candidates with Florida school-based experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, families, and school personnel
  • Ability to manage an itinerant caseload effectively and adapt to multiple school environments
