Job Description

In a supportive educational environment, professionals will provide essential psychological services to K-12 students. This role involves a dedicated focus on assessments, evaluations, and IEP support, ensuring that each student receives the guidance they need to thrive academically and emotionally.

Location: Ferndale, WA
Job Type: Contract, Full-Time
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 7.5 hours per day, onsite

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations for students, facilitating appropriate placement and support.
  • Provide re-evaluations and ongoing IEP support, working closely with the IEP team.
  • Attend and participate in staff meetings to collaborate on student development and well-being.
  • Develop and implement intervention strategies tailored to individual student needs.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with district policies.

Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist License in Washington State.
  • ESA Credential through OSPI.
  • Strong background in special education processes and assessments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with staff and families.
  • Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred.
