Job Description

Step into a pivotal role supporting middle school students as a School Psychologist on a full-time, contract basis. Qualifications:

  • Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement
  • Previous experience working in school-based settings, especially with middle school populations, is preferred
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and consultative skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with educators, administrators, families, and outside agencies
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and interpret assessment results
  • Develop and help implement intervention strategies tailored for individual student needs
  • Collaborate as part of multidisciplinary teams for IEP and Section 504 plan development
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students
  • Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to support positive academic and behavioral outcomes
  • Maintain timely, accurate records and documentation in accordance with school policies
